SitePlan is Required for a Minimum of One Year

This first year, it’s important for us to maintain control via hosting so we can trouble shoot any issues that may arise quickly.

Staying with LightSpree SitePlan means you’ll have exclusive access to any upgrades, improvements, and opportunities to purchase increased functionality for your site. But if you want to move to different hosting after the first year, that’s no problem at all. We will provide you with a downloadable version of your site so it can be taken to a host of your choosing.

Creative & Development Updates

Both SitePlan packages include a specific amount of time for updates per month performed by LightSpree’s design or development teams.  Additional update requests after the allocated time is available, are charged at our regular hourly rate.

So what is considered an ‘update’? An update is a support request to make a change on your website like adding a page, inserting an image, or an event.  An error or bug request is when you ask us to fix a that is broken on the site and are handled without reducing your bank of update hours.

Although you have complete access to manage your site, the LightSpree team is always available to help enhance or manage your site.

LightSpree Toolset Updates

The LightSpree Development Team is constantly creating enhancements and new features.  As a LightSpree SitePlan member, you will receive all of these improvements for free.  Updates to LightSpree are performed monthly, and won’t interfere with your site performance.

CMS Updates

Our platform is always evolving, so it is important that the core of each LightSpree site is kept up to date with the latest patches and fixes to ensure your site is always secure and running smoothly.  These updates are performed monthly, and will never interrupt your site’s up time.

Hours expire at the end of each month, and can’t be carried over. Development updates requests may be restricted based on changes that would affect the operations of LightSpree.

Our philosophy with all clients is to separate your email services from your web servers. In the event that you lose connectivity to either service, chances are the remaining service will still be active. We stand behind G-Suite from Google as our email provider. Not only does G-Suite have a nearly perfect uptime record, a G-Suite account gives you the power of their Enterprise Gmail and Google Docs for Business suite of tools– which offer a much more robust feature set than standard Google Docs.

Reliable, No-Hassle Email from Google

imagesEach LightSpree account comes with a number of fully-functional email addresses and access to create unlimited system emails (such as info@ or accounting@, for example). These system emails do not have an inbox, but rather forwards to other assigned email addresses. Additional fully-functional email addresses can be added to your account for $6 per address a month.

We Are a 501 (c)(3).  Doesn’t Google Have a Nonprofit Program?

As a 501 (c)(3), your ministry may be eligible for G-Suite for Nonprofits.  LightSpree will help you work with Google to join their nonprofit program, but Google does reserve the right to deny participation in the program for any reason, at any time.  To ensure our clients always have access to the resources, power and stability of G-Suite, the included account via our standard hosting plan will always apply, in the event your membership to the program is denied or terminated.  View the program requirements at Google’s Join the Program page.
